Traditionally there have been two main methods of cleaning carpets and upholstery:

a) Steam cleaning and b) Shampooing

Steam cleaning is "hot water extraction" relying on large amounts of water and aggressive stain removing chemicals that can result in shrinkage and damage.

Using the latest Chem-Dry hot carbonating system, which contains no detergents, bleaches, optical brighteners, soaps etc, fabrics are left free from dirt attracting residues and will therefore resist resoiling even more effectively than new carpets and upholstery! Because a relatively small amount of solution is used, most of which is extracted, your carpets are left only slightly damp, and dry quickly in most cases in under an hour. Upholstery drying times are a little longer.
